Amongst the more common concerns of women in their lives are menopause and pregnancy. These stages in their lives often include a number of obvious changes. These are both anticipated and feared as a stage in the life of every woman that may intimidate or bring about irrational fear. Challenges surely define the essence of woman, however, and as an individual she makes her life more meaningful.
Menopause is that time when a woman is no longer having regular periods, when the flow is totally ceased. A year of no period would definitely indicate that you are in the menopausal stage. That is why the possibility of having a menopausal pregnancy is but quite difficult if not totally impossible. During the perimenopause where the period is in irregularity one is assured of a lesser chance of having a child and all the more as she ages.

It occurs to most women especially during the ages 45-55 when they are experiencing irregularities in their period thus causing a bit of confusion for them. The chances of pregnancy during menopause are not as high as when one is much younger, though it is not impossible. There are a number of cases of pregnancy during menopause and even pregnancy after menopause that was reported. Pregnancy in menopause might just cause some more difficulties thus will post a risk on the mother just as well as the baby’s health.
