Another type of insomnia is fatal familial insomnia. Insomnia sleep apnea is often associated with one another, yet insomnia plays a significant role in the development of other diseases. Lack of sleep can cause the body's immune system to decline, thus making the body prone to other sickness. Sleep insomnia is also triggered by excessive intake of caffeine, a bitter white alkaloid often derived from tea and coffee and chiefly used as a mild stimulant. Insomnia in teenagers is often associated with restlessness, depression and teen pressure.
